EOR Screening and Pilots

The main objective of the EOR screening study is to evaluate EOR methods and recommend the most technically and economically EOR feasible scheme to improve the asset value. SWIFT Team has high experience in evaluating and screening most of the EOR methods .

 

 Screening and selection of most adequate EOR techniques such as:

 Thermal Processes

 Gas Processes

 Chemical Processes

 Evaluating EOR methods, based on different reservoir sectors (cutting high, medium and low case).

 EOR field history matching.

 Working with commercial reservoir simulators such Eclipse, VIP, CMG etc. to prepare reservoir

 simulation models (Black Oil, Compositional and Thermal) related to various EOR processes.

 Conducting/ Assisting in specialized laboratory work related to EOR methods,such as PVT

 or relative permeability studies, SCAL fluid/gas/CO2 properties work, miscibility testing

  (rising bubble apparatus, slim tube testing), recovery (core flooding) and prepare EOS.

 Identifying the critical parameters and uncertainties from the range of recovery outcomes per

 technique and risks to achieving outcomes, e.g. lack of "feed " supply.

 Surveillance and Monitoring of various EOR process.

 Assessing and demonstrate economic feasibility of EOR methods

 (e.g. NPV positive in base case; Low case).

 Pilot project designing .

 Designing of EOR processes from conception to implementation.
